SET POINT

Software control module
The controller module SET POINT is designed for the particular conditions existing on extrusion lines. With outstanding accuracy it controls either line speed or extruder screw rpm - always with the best control characteristic, independent of the product size and at all speed ranges.

This is possible due to our in-house calibration of the SET POINT for perfect control so that every deviation is reduced to zero within seconds. If needed, any other regulating time can be set. In case of long dead times (if the measuring head is installed after the cooling trough), the controller adapts itself automatically to the new conditions by changing the regulating time accordingly.

Therefore even under these conditions the control is always reliable and stable. To avoid influences, the in- and output connections of the controller are electrically isolated.
