Three ECOCONTROL models belong to the premium segment of display and control devices by SIKORA. They attract special interest, due to its intelligent software technology, simplicity and ease of use for the operator.

ECOCONTROL 2000^*
ECOCONTROL 2000 is an extremely powerful processor system, which clearly brings the measuring values of the connected diameter and eccentricity devices into focus. In total, up to 8 measuring and test devices can be connected to the ECOCONTROL 2000. The measuring values are displayed numerically as well as graphically on a 15“-TFT monitor. A clear line presentation with pictograms of the connected devices provides additional information. Moreover, it contains a length-related trend diagram for the measured dimensions and a display of the statistical distribution curve of the measurements with the minimum, maximum and mean value, standard deviation, Cp and Cpk. Interesting is the sophisticated visualization of the FFT-Analysis and Structural Return Loss Prediction.

For the ECOCONTROL 1000 and 2000 models data storage is also possible.

The operation is menu-driven via touch-screen, designed for an intuitive use. Optionally, all ECOCONTROL models allow an automatic control of the line speed or extruder rpm and provide a record of the measuring values.

Automatic diameter/ wall thickness control: SET POINT
A special feature of all ECOCONTROL models is the automatic control unit SET POINT. It ensures a continuous control of the diameter or wall thickness by controlling either the line speed or the extruder rpm.

Hot/Cold control: HC 2000
A special highlight of the ECOCONTROL 1000 and 2000 is the automatic shrinkage compensation with a speed controlled delay time memory for a comparison of hot and cold values at coincident points.

CD control
Taking into consideration, that diameter and capacitance influence each other, the SIKORA CD control compensates the necessary correction in the control process by an advanced calculation of the expected changes of the respective measuring parameters.

VIRTUAL 2000
The virtual gauge technology is suitable for all applications where the line configuration or the product structure does not allow for measurement directly after the extruder. VIRTUAL 2000 eliminates the delay time which results from controlling the extruder with measurement values from the end of the line. Already at the start-up of the line, the intelligent software concept calculates the expected cold wall thickness from given product and line parameters.

ECOCONTROL 1000
ECOCONTROL 1000 offers two serial interfaces for the connection of measuring devices such as SIKORA’s LASER Series 2000 or 6000, CENTERVIEW 8000 or CAPACITANCE 2000 models. Additionally, two test devices of the LUMP 2000 and SPARK 2000 series can be connected. The measured values are displayed on a 15“-TFT touch-screen monitor.

ECOCONTROL 600
The innovative, compact and economic ECOCONTROL 600 utilizes a clear 8.4“-TFT monitor and offers a serial interface for the connection of one measuring device. All ECOCONTROL models promise successful and future-oriented technology combined with remarkable straight forwardness.
