XY- and 3-axis lump/neckdown detectors

For a continuous quality control lump detectors are as essential as diameter measuring devices and spark testers today. Promptly, precisely and with a high reliability the XY and triple axis lump detectors LUMP 2000 XY and LUMP 2000 T detect even smallest lumps and neck downs in wires and cables at all line speeds.

With a powerful signal processor the height, depth and length of the non-conformities are analyzed, digitally displayed and stored. As a result of the combination of a double sensor technology (differential measuring principle) with infrared light sources LUMP 2000 ensures highest reliability in the fault detection even under extreme conditions such as contamination and extreme vibration. The lump detector is significantly robust and due to its small dimensions easily to be integrated into every extrusion line or rewinding machine lines.

The SIKORA LUMP 2000 T models allow a triple axis detection of lumps and necks. Like the XY devices LUMP 2000 T is equipped with the double sensor technology. It detects random non conformities on the product surface and meets highest quality demands - even at very high line speeds.
