New Supervisory Board Chairman for the SIKORA AG
Since July 10th 2008, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Sikora, who holds a professorship at the institute for telecommunication services at the Technische Universität Berlin, has been the new Supervisory Board Chairman of SIKORA AG. Sikora replaces in this function the previous Chairman, Mr. Wolfgang van Hettinga, former spokesman of the Siemens AG.
“I thank you very much for your trust and I am looking forward to the challenges in my new function”, commented the Bremen-born Sikora on his appointment. “Our aim is to continue our strategy of expansion and the long lasting development of our company to remain competitive”, says Sikora.
Since the change of SIKORA GmbH into a corporation in 2002, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Sikora as well as Wolfgang van Hettinga and Martin Siemer have been on the Supervisory Board of the SIKORA AG. On a rotational basis Mr. Prof. Thomas Sikora takes the chair on the Supervisory Board. Mr. Wolfgang van Hettinga and Martin Siemer remain on the Supervisory Board. The Managing Board of SIKORA AG would like to thank Mr. van Hettinga for his commitment in the last years, which has significantly contributed to the dynamic growth of the company.
