REMOTE 2000 includes a 5-digit display for the diameter average value. The bright, big figures are easy to read even from a distance of 12 m (50 ft). By one of the function keys it can be selected to get the diameter X, Y or the ovality on display. The keypad consists of big, dust and waterproof numeric keys and self explaining function keys like SET-POINT, TOLERANCE and AUTOMATIC. Together with the integrated alpha numeric display the keypad, makes the operation for the user always clear, definite and easy.

Moreover, REMOTE 2000 enables to store the data of 10 cable types, which are relevant for the production: set point, tolerance, control reaction. These values are activated by selection of the corresponding PRODUCT CODE.

In order to make sure that only valid values are taken for display and control the system continuously performs a self diagnostic test and makes. Any type of fault is displayed at the alpha numeric LED display, integrated in the keypad, in clear text and switches a dry contact (ready). For the connection of the measuring head REMOTE 2000 provides the bi-directional serial interface RS 485, for the communication with a line computer it offers the bi-directional serial interface RS 485.
