Applications

By means of an effective technological fine tuning SIKORA now presents the new 2- and 3-axis-model series X-RAY 6000 for a precise measurement of wall thickness, eccentricity, ovality, as well as inner and outer diameter. The X-RAY 6000 is suitable for production lines of energy cables, communication cables, hose or tube extrusion lines with a product range of 5 mm up to 270 mm.*  It ensures flexible solutions for specific products, such as application specific options to the measurement of RF-cables and the measurement of the radial foam quality, to fiber optic cables, wall thickness measurement of composite pipes, rubber hoses or medicine tubes in µm ranges. The X-RAY 6000 is an essential tool for production optimization and cost reduction.

The new X-RAY 6070 TRIAX for hose and tube extrusion lines continuously measures wall thickness and ovality at 6 points while at the same time detecting faults on the product surface or the inner tube. A complete set of analyzing tools and protocol functions ensures constant product quality throughout the production cycle.
