The X-RAY 2000 fascinates through its innovative non contact X-ray measuring technique and represents the most economic and precise measuring device of its class. All models of the X-RAY 2000 series, developed for the measurement of wall thickness, eccentricity, outer diameter and ovality at insulating, jacketing and extrusion lines, fulfill highest quality demands.

The system measures the wall thickness of up to 3 layers at 4 points and ensures flexible solutions for specific products, such as application specific options to the measurement of RF-cables and the measurement of the radial foam quality, or to rubber hoses and composite pipes. In all applications the systems have proven their value and achieve highest measuring accuracy. In combination with the display and control device ECOCONTROL 2000 the measuring system provides precise information for the optimum control of every production line.

The industrial quality X-ray tubes, which are used in the X-RAY 2000, are operated with a fraction of their power rating. The X-RAY 2000 corresponds to the internationally established ALARA concept, to assure radiation limits nearby the device operate As Low As Reasonably Achievable.
