In todays modern cable production lines of LAN cables, coaxial cables, RF and telephonoe wires, building wires and automative cables as well low voltage power cables, spark testers are of essential importance for quality assurance, safety and production optimization. Testing for electrical breakdowns in the cable insulation defines major requirements to the capabilities and reliability of a measuring device.
SIKORA SPARK 2000
Adapted to different cable types, SIKORA is offering high voltage, high frequency or direct current spark testers of superior quality. The SPARK 2000 UL is a high frequency spark tester with a robust bead chain electrode reliably detecting insulation errors directly at the production. This system is mainly used in fast production lines for building wires, automotive cables or signal lines. The SPARK 2000 UL provides a test voltage in a range of 0.5 to 15 kV and operates with a test frequency of 3 to 4.5 kHz. The SPARK 2000 DC is a direct current spark tester with up to 7.5kV test voltage, specifically developed for the testing of telephone wires, data cables and coaxial cables with foam insulation. The solid electrode and the electronic box of these spark testers form one integral unit. Optionally the display & control panel REMOTE 2000 can be fully integrated.
The SIKORA SPARK 2000 BS is a high voltage spark tester, available for products with a diameter from 30 to 170 mm. The test voltage is selectable in a range of 1,8 to 25 kV (30, 35, 40 kV optional).
SIKORA spark testers meet the highest safety level, offer high connectivity for data transfer and communication (RS 485, RS 232, Profibus-DP, analog interfaces per request) and fulfill all important test standards (BS, VDE, CENELEC, UL, AS, CS, etc.).
